On the weekend of the 12th September, for the 2nd year running, James Gibbs, RE Personnel's Operations Director, will be trudging through the bogs of Dartmoor for 2 days.
The Ten Tors Challenge Charity Event is organised by the SJP Foundation who contribute in excess of £1.5 million per year to a select group of charities. Their focus is on assisting children and young people with special needs, and on helping the hospice movement who do invaluable work in supporting the terminally ill.
The Challenge is to complete a specified 35 mile course accross Dartmoor, checking in at Ten Tors along the way. This is a timed race with an overnight camp on the moor expected, however conditions permitting James and the team plan to continue walking into the night to complete the course in 1 extremely tough day - should be fun!!
The team of 4 are aiming to raise in excess of £1000.00 so please give generously by visiting http://www.justgiving.com/James-Gibbs
